The EP is officially available for pre-order now, with a release date of October 15, 2026.

What it is

Heatwave Sessions is a 5-track instrumental EP built on one idea: what if a beat tape played less like a collection of songs and more like a short film?

This is IllaTunes’ fourth release, and the most intentional one yet. Five tracks meant to be sat with front to back.

Where the name comes from

The project started with a different title. Heatwave Sessions stuck because it was literally made during the most recent California heat wave. The making of this EP was a way of channeling the frustration of the extreme heat straight into the music.

Why it matters beyond the music

Every dollar from Heatwave Sessions goes directly into building 3rdverse, the blog, the features, the drops, all of it. Buying this project isn’t just supporting a producer. It’s funding the same platform you’re reading right now, and everything coming next from it.
